In religion this week, we talked about “I Can Feel”. We shared feelings like glad, afraid, love, annoyance, and sadness. For our Tree Study, Mathew shared items from his nature walk at home. The children measured each other using non-traditional measuring items like sticks. They also used their tree items that they collected on our nature walk for counting (one-to-one correspondence). They used sticks, leaves, and pine cones. They used sticks to make letters. We enjoyed the weather as the children had fun walking in the rain and sharing umbrellas.
